About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Fundraising Ambassador. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in helping us to reach and support more people affected by dementia than ever before.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will volunteer with our fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters to raise funds. You will help us to identify potential new supporters, build brand awareness, and inspire people in your local area to know more about dementia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Attending events and cheque presentations to engage with our supporters and promote our cause
  • Helping with bucket collections and other fundraising activities in your local community
  • Identifying and building relationships with potential new supporters and partners
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and plans

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in their community and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are a team player who is able to work independently and is comfortable with public speaking, we would love to hear from you.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by dementia and their families. You will be part of a dedicated team that is committed to providing help and hope to everyone affected by dementia in the North East.

We are a leading dementia charity that provides a range of services and support to people affected by dementia. Our front-line services are at the heart of what we do, providing help to people in our communities and online. We also fund research and campaign for change in dementia care and support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about our cause and is able to help us to raise vital funds and awareness in their local community. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.
