This transformational leadership role requires a who can drive operational excellence while building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the client team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary client-facing representative ensuring seamless service delivery and continuous improvement across all facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Account LeadershipServe as the primary client interface and relationship owner for the IFM account at the designated siteBuild and maintain strong strategic partnerships with client facility managers operations teams strategic functions (including Finance BI HR etc.) and executive leadershipAct as a transformational leader who can influence positive change and drive client satisfactionConduct regular client meetings reviews and strategic planning sessionsProactively identify client needs and develop solutions to exceed expectationsManage client escalations and ensure rapid resolution of issuesIFM Service Delivery & Operations ManagementLead the IFM service delivery modelincluding maintenance operations space management and support servicesDirect daily facility operations including HVAC electrical plumbing security and life safety systemsManage integrated service teams across multiple disciplines (maintenance cleaning security landscaping etc.)Drive continuous improvement initiatives and service optimizationacross all IFM service linesEnsure seamless coordination between all IFM service providers and client operationsTransformational Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead organisational change initiativesto improve service delivery and operational efficiencyBuild high-performing client-focused teamsacross all IFM service areasFoster a culture of innovation accountability and client partnershipMentor and develop team members to enhance capabilities and career growthChampion best practices and drive standardizationacross service deliveryFinancial & Performance ManagementManage IFM contract budgets and financial performancefor the siteDevelop and track KPIs and SLAsin partnership with client stakeholdersIdentify cost optimisation opportunities while maintaining service excellencePrepare detailed performance reports and client presentationsNegotiate change orders and additional services with client approvalStrategic Partnership & InnovationCollaborate with client leadership on long-term facility strategy and planningIdentify and implement innovative solutionsto enhance facility performanceLead technology adoption and digital transformation initiativesSupport client sustainability and corporate responsibility goalsPosition IFM services as a strategic business enablerfor client operationsRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering Business Administration or related field10 years of facilities management experience with 5 years in client-facing leadership rolesProven track record in IFM or multi-service facilities management environmentsDemonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic client relationshipsExperience leading transformational change and service improvement initiativesClient Relationship & Leadership SkillsExceptional relationship-building and client management capabilitiesProven ability to influence and drive change in complex organizational environmentsStrong executive presence and communication skills for C-level client interactionsTrack record of turning around challenging client relationships or underperforming accountsExperience managing large integrated service teams and multiple vendor relationshipsTechnical & Operational SkillsComprehensive knowledge of IFM service delivery models and best practicesStrong understanding of building systems and facility operationsProficiency in IWMS and performance management systemsKnowledge of relevant codes regulations and industry standardsExperience with contract management and SLA performance trackingPreferred QualificationsProfessional certifications (CFM FMP CPM LEED AP etc.)Background in consulting or professional services deliveryTrack record of winning contract renewals and expanding account scopeCritical Success FactorsMust be a transformational leader with proven change management experienceExceptional client relationship management and account growth capabilitiesAbility to be based at the client site and serve as the primary IFM representativeStrong business acumen with focus on client value creationDemonstrated ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary service teamsLocation: On-site Derby GBRIf this job description resonates with you we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all the requirements.
