Derby, Derby, United Kingdom Cooper Parry Full time

About The Role...
Are you passionate about understanding how things work and identifying opportunities for improvement? Do you want to help shape the future of an innovative, fast-growing business?

Cooper Parry is scaling rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions, and we're transforming how we operate. Our ambition is to build an agile, efficient, and scalable platform for future growth - and this role will be instrumental in supporting that journey.

As a Manager in our Business Process Optimisation (BPO) team, you'll play a key role in capturing and mapping business processes across Cooper Parry. Working closely with Senior Managers and stakeholders, you'll lead the discovery and documentation of current processes and help define future-state workflows.

Your focus will be on enabling clarity and alignment across teams, ensuring that process insights are well understood and actionable. While you won't be responsible for delivering solutions, your work will provide the foundation for informed decision-making and successful implementation by others.

Skills
You'll bring strong analytical skills, experience in stakeholder engagement, and a structured approach to process improvement, supporting activities such as:

Process Discovery & Design

  • Lead the discovery and analysis of core processes across service lines and operational functions
  • Apply structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to analyse, redesign, and support the implementation of scalable process solutions
  • Map current-state and future-state processes using tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio
  • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, risk, and cost-to-serve opportunities, and propose commercially impactful improvements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape solutions that are ready for implementation and long-term optimisation

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and root-cause analysis sessions to understand operational challenges
  • Partner with Technology, Business Operations, and Transformation to align process changes with automation and digital capability
  • Act as a key point of engagement with stakeholders - including Service Line Heads, Directors, and Ops Leadership

Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the transition from implementation to optimisation, ensuring processes are embedded and continuously improved
  • Contribute to the development and rollout of process governance frameworks, templates, and standards
  • Define and track KPIs linked to financial outcomes and operational value

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide Assistant Managers and Team Members in process analysis and improvement techniques
  • Share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the BPO team
