About the UK Business Climate Hub

We deliver the UK Business Climate Hub programme, which brings together leading businesses,

business associations, membership bodies, and the UK Government, to collaborate towards our

common aim: to encourage and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to reduce their

greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and thrive in the transition to net zero.

Together we:

  • provide the UK's government-backed net zero advice and guidance one-stop-shop at

www.businessclimatehub.uk and develop and distribute shared content

  • identify opportunities and barriers for UK SMEs in the transition to net zero to advise

We are seeking to recruit a new digital content lead to drive the development of UK Business

Climate Hub, working in collaboration with our stakeholders.


Working at The Broadway Initiative

At Broadway you can help the UK achieve net zero. We are a small team with a great collaborative

spirit working with many of the UK’s sustainability leaders.

We primarily work remotely with in-person team days from time to time. We welcome applicants

based anywhere in the UK.

Candidates’ starting salary will be set according to their qualifications and experience within the

given range. The annual leave entitlement is 25 days plus public holidays. You are eligible to join

the company’s stakeholder pension scheme after successful completion of the probation period.

Key responsibilities

As digital content lead, you will be responsible for:

  • carrying out user research to understand user needs


  • analysing data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Hotjar and other sources to
  • understand user needs and behaviour
  • developing the content roadmap
  • producing new content in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • reviewing and continuously improving the Information Architecture (IA)
  • managing social media channels
  • managing the UKBCH programme advisory board
  • managing relationships with external web content and promotion delivery partners

Qualifications and experience

Required:

5+ years experience and demonstrable track record in

o content strategy

o user research

o content design and development

Desirable:

Demonstrable track record in

o stakeholder management

o social media management

Passion for and experience in business sustainability

Relevant degree
