Our Tax team is seeking a Transactions and Corporate Tax Advisory Manager
The Duncan & Toplis group is one of the UK’s top regional accountancy firms, specialising in accountancy, tax, and business advice, as well as supporting clients with legal services, IT support, and wealth management. Established in 1925, the team provide services to more than 12,000 businesses and individuals. What you will be doing day to day:
- Manage the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance work for clients in a range of industries including high street brands.
- Involvement in UK tax due diligence engagements.
- Opportunity to get involved in UK and International corporate tax advisory projects with training provided.
- Being one of the main points of contact for directors, managers, and clients on a portfolio of corporate tax compliance jobs.
- Ensuring all parties are kept up to date as work progresses.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Help develop other team members in corporate tax compliance work.
What you need:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA and/or CTA.
- Alternatively, qualified by experience.
- Strong [role] experience.
- Experience managing trainee team members preferred.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude to change and a desire to be the best you can be at your role.
