Corporate Tax Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join our team at Duncan & Toplis. As a key member of our Corporate Tax team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance work for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationships: Oversee a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, providing expert tax compliance and advisory services, and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive tax advice on complex issues, including transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group reorganisations, and patent box.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives, building relationships with potential clients and collaborating with directors to expand our corporate tax offering.
  • Mentorship and Development: Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in other departments to identify tax-related opportunities and risks for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Corporate Tax Director or equivalent role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax law and regulations.
  • Experience in corporate tax compliance.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments.
  • Business development skills.
  • Acknowledged as a Tax expert.
  • Qualified CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA.
