We are excited to offer an outstanding career opportunity for a Director of Guest Experience at a prestigious hospitality venue in Yorkshire. This leadership role is essential in ensuring all guest interactions are handled with the utmost care and sophistication, embodying our commitment to exceptional service.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Hospitality diploma/degree with significant leadership experience in a luxury or five-star environment
  • Prior experience leading a front-of-house team in a quality operation, preferably within an English country house setting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with guests to ensure a personalized visit
  • Proficient with Opera and other relevant IT systems, with a solid understanding of all social media platforms
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with impeccable presentation and an empathetic, resilient personality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring alignment with our luxury standards
  • Lead and mentor the guest service and guest experience teams, fostering an environment of professionalism and continuous improvement
  • Proactively engage with guests to build relationships, personalize their stays, and manage any issues that arise, ensuring all interactions contribute to a positive and memorable experience
  • Oversee the management of all guest-facing operations, including guest relations, reservations, and guest services, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency
  • Maintain high visibility in all public areas, interact with guests to obtain feedback, and use insights to drive improvements in service and guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate with global directors and other departments to ensure that operations are guest-centric and that all special guest needs are met with the highest standard of service
