Reporting to the Finance Manager and will lead a team of 3 staff members responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely payments.The Right role: * Oversee the accounts payable function and ensure timely and accurate * Processing of invoices and payments * Develop and monitor performance metrics for the AP team * Setting and facilitating the achievement of team objectives * Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable * Review month end supplier reconciliations and approve the weekly and monthly payment runs. * Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and stores, to ensure prompt resolution of queries and timely and accurate payment of invoices * Review and approval of company credit cards transactions * Provide guidance on financial transactions to the operational team and ensure compliance when posting and transacting foreign invoices for both UK & ROI entities * Maintain and develop accounts payable policies and ensure standard operating procedures are up to date * Monitor and analyse accounts payable processes and recommend improvementsThe Right Fit: * Minimum 3-5 years transactional finance experience in medium organisations * Experience working across entities including foreign based ones. * Excellent data manipulation and Excel skills * Attention to detail, take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work
