Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the recruitment strategy for our client's gas utilities business within Construction.
  • Develop Employer Branding strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers, shaping the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent, utilising various channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance the employer brand.
  • Utilise data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and optimise processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and stay up-to-date with trends in talent acquisition.
  • Champion a candidate-centric approach, delivering positive experiences for all applicants.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Talent acquisition experience, within construction.
  • In-depth understanding of the construction/engineering industry, including regulatory environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Some project management experience is desirable.
