Looking out over the serene open fields of Burscough’s historical airbase this luxury 80bedded nursing home was purposebuilt just 2 years ago to deliver exceptional standards of specialist care including: complex care dementia care palliative care and general residential and nursing care.
Having just taken new ownership of this beautiful home Sandstone Care Group are excited to develop this setting to its full potential starting with building an exceptional team of passionate and skilled individuals. As a Care Assistant at our home your role may involve:
- undertaking any necessary training
- supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene eating and getting involved with daily activities
- providing emotional support and companionship
- supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life focussed on their individual hobbies preferences and abilities
- maintaining high standards within the care home environment
- working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’. Advertised pay rates are for shifts worked from 1st April 2023.
What are we looking for
- A positive outlook and a warm personality
- Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the health and social care sector experience is beneficial but certainly not essential
- Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
