We are working with a Mental Health NHS Trust in the South East of the UK who are looking to recruit an interim Pharmacist Specialist for 3 months initially, though this may extend.This role will start ASAP and will be for 3 months initially with a day rate under the CCS NMNC RM6277 framework at band 7/8a. Key Responsibilities:Assist in the provision of a high quality patient focused clinical pharmacy service;Provide clinical pharmacy services, department and ward based, in line with Trust procedures and national legislation;Ensure safe and appropriate use of medicines in order to maximise benefit and minimise risk to patients;Support dispensary services across the organisation;Be an active member of the team of clinical pharmacists providing an interactive, high quality patient focused clinical pharmacy service at specified Trust Sites;Support the delivery of a safe, and effective dispensing and supply service;Provide input into policy and procedures affecting the use of pharmaceuticals at both local and trust wide levels;Undertake audits when and where required;Counsel patients and their carers on the safe and effective use of medicines.Successful candidate will have:Post graduate qualification in Mental Health Pharmacy;Mental Health Clinical experience;Ability to demonstrate a sound base of clinical pharmacy knowledge;Efficiently work as part of a clinical team;Operational management experience within a Mental Healthcare setting would be an advantage.If you are interested in the role, please email Toni Coates with a copy of your updated CV to (url removed) along with your availability and rate understanding in line with the above.If you do not receive a response within 72 hours (3 working days) of receipt, please assume that on this particular occasion, your application did not meet the client’s requirements for this specific role
