FINTEC recruit is seeking a UK Sales Manager/Controller with experience of working with major retail operators. This is a permanent position offering salary circa £70,000 plus bonus and benefits, plus company car allowance. The role is hybrid working (home based) with visiting the Nottingham office once per week and be prepared to travel out to customer premises for meetings as required. You will have experience in selling products into retailers. Any experience of beauty products is an advantage, but not essential. This role is working for an international Group brand, you will be experienced in working within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectorResponsibilities:Develop a strategic sales planDeliver growth from existing business and prospect for new business.Full P&L responsibility for all sales including monthly reportingPreparation and budget management and overseeing accountsSharing performance data, support proposalsBuilding relationships internal and externalLead and motivate sales team in delivering the sales strategy and annual business planSupporting the supply chain to gain accurate forecasting and delivery of dataSkills and Experience required for the Sales Control role:Must have UK retail sales experience within a fast moving FMCG sector. Experience and a background of sales and account management in a similar roleCommercial acumen, an understanding of financials (P&L, budgets, profitability and margins).Analytical , able to interpret and present dataProven track record of success in sales and profit growthHave Strong evidence of networking, influencing and negotiation at all levels within an organisation.Exceptional negotiation and communication skillsAble to travel nationally on a regular basis with overnight stays if necessary.Must be able to drive and own a carFull details of the Sales Manager/Controller position is available on application.
