EMEA Distributor Manager
We're representing a pioneering force in the medical device industry. They are dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative and advanced technologies that improve patient care and outcomes worldwide.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our client's team as an EMEA Distributor Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding distribution networks across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth and ensure effective distribution strategies are implemented and executed by our network of distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distributor Management: Oversee a portfolio of distributors across the EMEA region. Build strong relationships with existing distributors and recruit new partners where necessary.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth through the distributor network. Set sales targets and KPIs for distributors and ensure they are achieved.
- Market Development: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities within the EMEA region. Conduct market research to understand local market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Training and Support: Provide training, product knowledge, and marketing support to distributors to ensure they are equipped to effectively represent our brand and products in the market.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements with potential and existing partners. Ensure agreements are aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor distributor performance regularly. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure distributors adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures. Monitor product quality, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and logistics to align distributor activities with overall company objectives. Communicate market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in distributor management or sales management within the EMEA region.
- Strong understanding of distribution networks and channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the EMEA region.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market research.
- Proficiency in English
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
