Planning Enforcement Officer £33,489- £36,845 per annum, 37 hours per week Permanent contract Cirencester/agile workingJoin us as a Planning Enforcement Officer and play a key role in protecting the unique character and natural beauty of the Cotswold District. Working from our Cirencester office, youll be part of a supportive Planning Services team dedicated to safeguarding our landscapes, heritage assets and communities. Youll manage your own varied caseload of planning enforcement investigations, helping to resolve breaches of planning control and supporting the wider Development Management and Enforcement Service as a valued and trusted team member.Were looking for someone with solid life skills, sound judgement and the confidence to deal with complex or sensitive situations. Perhaps youve worked in compliance, a planning team, or another role involving investigations, negotiation or public engagement. If youre an effective communicator, comfortable working independently, and able to gather and present evidence clearly and logically, wed be pleased to hear from you.
