Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: £19.38

Main duties of the job

  • Assessment of patients on reablement unit including mobility, functional assessments and cognitive assessments.
  • Assessing for and ordering of appropriate equipment.
  • Delegation of appropriate work to Therapy Practitioners.
  • Multidisciplinary working with physiotherapy and nursing staff.
  • Discharge planning including liaising with relatives and external agencies.
  • Completing timely referrals to appropriate teams to facilitate discharges.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (Occupational Therapy Degree/Physiotherapy Degree)
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working within the NHS

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
