Role Overview
The postholder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department;• Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied;• QC to job requirements;• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule;• Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered;• Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;• Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations;• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy• Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes;• Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek is preferable but not essential;• Understanding Windows Operating systems• Operational experience with print;• Demonstrable attention to detail;• Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious;• Flexible and effective team member.

Shift: Night shift – 4 night week (Mon – Thurs) 19.45pm – 06.15am
