Cobbler's Gastropub & Pizzeria have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our hospitality team. Cobbler's provides a range of dining experiences ranging from A la Carte menu complimented with a range of pizzas. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sous Chef, up to date with modern cooking techniques, creative and even-tempered with the experience to manage and lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence. As Sous Chef you will have responsibility for: Food production, menu development, stock management & wastage. Compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation. Staff training & retention. Food safety & hygiene. The kitchen budget, Gross profit margins and kitchen staff rotas in the absence of the Head Chef. Maintain exceptional standards of quality assurance, food prep and cooking. Working with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to create innovative menu ideas, maintaining a high standard of dining experience at Cobbler's Requirements: Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality. At least 3 years Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie experience in a similar environment. Level 2 of food hygiene, Level 3 desirable Creative flair & attention to detail Team player with a strong work ethic Meticulous, organised and punctual Salary: Competitive salary to be disclosed upon application.
