Business Support Officer

1. Provide support administrating and delivery of the Household Support fund - FSM vouchers and other activities
Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary
2. Supporting Performance team/CBC gathering key information from School and providers to accurately process vouchers and ensure smooth delivery of vouchers through informed decision making
To contribute as team member to the provision of a modern, professional, high quality and responsive business support and customer focused service to support the Corporate and Business Plans of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.
3. Liaise with external colleagues including providers of education, social workers, schools to ensure effective communication on the HSF vouchers.
4. Support resolving queries with services/ providers, parents and others.
5. Undertake such duties consistent with the role to ensure the LA meet and submitted delivery plan and therefore meeting the funding requirement
Comprehensive business and administrative support to a team.
Must be organised, a good communicator, proficient with Microsoft products and have attention to detail.
