We are recruiting an Interim UK & Ireland HSE Manager for a large FMCG business who are seeking support whilst they find a permanent candidate for the role.This role is paying circa £500 per day, inside IR35, paid via an umbrella company and is likely to run for an initial period of approx. 3 months. We are ideally looking for someone to work 5 days a week but are open to less days. You will have responsibility for 7 UK sites, one direct report and just over 400 staff.We require someone who is commutable to Northamptonshire, where 3/7 sites are located and someone who is able to travel approx. 4 days a week, in particular to a site in the North West.It is your role to maintain and support improvements of the current health and safety culture. You must be able to communicate and build trust with the SLT but also be a hands on, visible leader, who will roll model good behaviour and bring a positive, energetic approach to the business.What we are looking for:An experienced Health and Safety Consultant, who has operated at this level in previous positions.FMCG experience is desirable but the client will look to wider regulated manufacturing experience to be also includedNEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) level qualificationSomeone who is still confident in an operational, hands on capacity and is willing to roll their sleeves up. You must however be equally able to engage, gain buy in, influence and convey the HSEQ message to the SLT.
