Transport AdministratorMy client is a leading provider of palletised freight and logistics solutions. They provide a full range of shipping and freight distribution and have been serving their customers for almost 40 years. Due to company growth, they are looking for a transport administrator to join their friendly, dynamic team. The perfect candidate will have strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and multi-tasking. Responsibilities Completing the day-to-day administration, including data entry on in-house systems, and maintaining correct records on transport activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle logs, driver assignments, and collection paperwork.De-briefing drivers daily and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and filed.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Provide updates to the Transport Manager on KPI's.Liaise with internal departments, including Warehouse and Customer Service as well as external stakeholders, such as customers/suppliers. RequirementsStrong IT knowledge in Microsoft platforms such as Excel.Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.Have excellent communication, written and verbal skills.Be able to work well as part of a team.Use your initiative and organise yourself and workload.Have a great attention to detail and accuracy.
