**Operations**
- Liaise with staff from other Tippytoes sites to ensure stock is shared to fulfil referrals
- Manage process for receiving donations, greeting people and encouraging volunteers to be friendly and welcoming to visitors
- Manage stock flow between the hub and any additional storage facilities
- Identify new opportunities for sourcing and managing donations
- Prepare stock and marketing supplies for events as required
- Manage the workload of the week, so that any volunteers have a clear plan of tasks and activities
- Ensure appropriate communication between HQ and other satellites, so that colleagues are working to complement each other’s operations
- Ensure volunteer sessions are professional, productive and fun and that volunteers are appropriately thanked for their time
- Ensure volunteers receive a daily briefing, including Health & Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments where required
- Assist the manager in inducting new volunteers, ensuring they are familiar with TippyToes policies and procedures

**Referral Fulfilment**
- On a daily basis, ensure relevant referrals are ready for packing, keeping close record of due dates to ensure referrals are completed prior to labour
- Ensure referrals are prepared and packed to best meet the needs of the family based on available stock
- Being the lead person on the ‘shop floor’ for the retail offering for visiting families.
- Ensuring the site is welcoming and tidy and that families feel they are having a personal but professional service
- Working with colleagues across sites to evaluate ‘retail’ environment, as this is a new operational model for

Tippytoes

**Quality Management**:

- Overall responsibility for checking incoming stock and outgoing equipment to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained
- Ensure donations are safety checked and safety labelled before being put into stock circulation
- Responsible for aspects of Health and Safety within the hub, always ensuring safe working practices and the safety of employees and volunteers
- Responsible First Aider and Fire Warden on site whilst baby bank operational (training will be given)

**Facilities**
- Responsible for management of the baby bank building and smooth running of the site, including zoning areas and arranging for appropriate shelving/storage where necessary.
- Ensuring the space is kept clean and tidy by overseeing the cleaning schedule and ensuring that waste is disposed of safely and appropriately.
- Responsible for unlocking/locking up, site security and acting as main key holder
- Working with Tippytoes Manager to empower and motivate the volunteer team
- Maintaining good relations with other businesses in the area

**Transport**
- Liaise with the delivery volunteers regarding weekly delivery schedules and ensuring drivers are fully briefed when they arrive on site

**Waste Management**
- Pro-active research on sustainable waste solutions
- Co-ordinate and control tip, recycling and charity runs, ensuring the correct resource is provided

**General**
- Organising and attending pop up shops as required
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR policy and that sensitive information is kept secure and disposed of appropriately
- Occasionally speaking on our behalf at local community events e.g. school assemblies
- To propose and implement ideas and solutions to improve the running of the stock flow and storage
- Maintain a positive attitude on Social Media and assist with any online duties if required
- Provide staffing cover at other sites as and when required

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous customer service experience

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
