You will receive comprehensive induction training and will be supported in your personal development to achieve your goals with potential for career progression.We have full time36-48 hours per week night shifts availableNight shifts12-hour shift 8pm-8amPay rate starts at 20 per hourPaid breaksBenefits of joining our teamPaid breaks on 12-hour shiftsFull and part time roles availableDay shifts & Night shifts availableHot meal provided on 12-hour shiftEnhanced pay on bank holidaysVarious day and night shifts available28 days annual leave (inclusive of statuary bank holidays)PensionStaff recognition schemesRefer a Friend bonusEmployee Assistance ProgrammeComprehensive Training and Career DevelopmentAccess to ongoing training for continued professional developmentA friendly and supportive working environmentABOUT YOU:An RGN or RMN with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.You will have excellent communication skillsYou will work well within the team leading supporting and training junior staff membersYou will have previous experience in motivating the team.You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)Active UK NMC PINClear DBS And 2 satisfactory referencesAbout the Role:The main responsibilities of this role include:Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing homeOverseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medicationTo provide nursing and personal care to residents and promote their abilities.Will be required to supervise qualified and unqualified staff on a day to day basis as delegated by Line Manager.Planning implementing and supervising the provision of quality careMaintaining the required medical documentationUpholding residents rights to privacy dignity and choiceReporting any ill health among the residents and requesting professional visits when necessaryFamiliarizing yourself with and strictly adhering to company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelinesAbiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Councils (NMCS) code of professional conductPlease note we are only accepting candidates with a UK active PIN experience in the UK at least 1 year.The main requirements for this role are:*Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC) no restriction on NMC PIN *Experience in a Nursing Home in the UK*Live in South London or able to relocate *A genuine desire to work with the elderly*The ability to communicate clearly and concisely along with excellent listening skills*The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently*Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills*Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations*Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIf you are interested in the position please apply online today - we look forward to hearing from you.At SkyCare we offer unrivaled residential and dementia care in luxury homes.
