King Healthcare are currently assisting a leading Private Ophthalmic Clinic on Harley Street in their search for a Senior Ophthalmic Nurse. This client is seeking a Senior Nurse preferably with a background in Ophthalmics although training on specialistequipment can be provided for the right applicant. In addition the client also offers Dermatology and Aesthetic services.

**The Role**

In this role your duties will include assessing patients' vision and eye health and obtaining a thorough patient history. Assisting with eye examinations and procedures. Administering pre
- and postoperative care, including preparing patients for surgery,monitoring vital signs, and providing postoperative instruction and care. Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensuring compliance with relevantlaws and regulations.

The ideal applicant for this role will be an experienced nurse from an Opthalmic Clinic. Although someone with a background in Ophthalmics would be ideal, my client will consider a qualified nurse with an interest to work in this field and are able to providefull training in this area.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary on offer for this position is between £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience. In addition are several benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, private pension scheme, employee discounts etc.
