37.5 per week (Internal Rotation to include Days, Nights and Weekends shifts)
An exciting opportunity is available for a Staff Nurse, to join a well-established Nursing Team at a prestigious private hospital in London, specialising in Orthopaedics, Gynecology, Breast Surgery, General Surgery, Vascular and Urology.
The hospital nurse to patient ratio is favourable which means that the hospital can offer excellent individualised nursing care.
We are looking for RGN’s with 2-3 years of Acute Surgical nursing experience, who are keen to progress their career. This would be the ideal role for a nurse wishing to develop and extend both their managerial and leadership experience in clinical nursing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- As the Senior Staff Nurse, you will be expected to provide effective clinical leadership of the ward, ensuring that the nursing teams deliver safe, high quality patient care, by delivering on our leadership strategy
- Assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team
- Deputise for the Ward Sister when required
Who are you?
- A qualified RGN with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- NMC registered
- Senior Surgical Ward nursing experience
- An experienced band 5 Staff Nurse wanting to take the next step in your career
- Currently in a Senior role and looking for managerial experience opportunities
