Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our Inspection Department's technical initiatives
  • Manage and develop our team of engineer surveyors

  • Represent our Inspection Body at industry meetings


Tasks Include:

  • Structuring technical areas for optimal performance
  • Ensuring competence and impartiality in all activities

  • Upholding legislative reporting standards
  • Identifying resource and training needs
  • Resolving complaints and appeals effectively

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Engineering degree/HNC/HND/Level 4 or equivalent
  • SAFed category 1 requirement (essential)
  • Professional recognition (C Eng, I Eng) desired
  • Minimum 10 years of inspection industry experience
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation (LOLER, PSSR, PUWER, WAHR)
  • Understanding of UKAS accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17020) is desirable
