With exciting growth plans in place, they are now looking to appoint a Key Account Manager to lead sales across the South East region.The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded foodie who enjoys developing relationships, uncovering opportunities, and supporting customers in the professional food industry.Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key regional wholesaler accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across the South East. Key customers include foodservice wholesalers such as KFF, Elite, Woods, and other leading regional and distributors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic initiatives to grow sales and strengthen relationships with regional wholesalersIdentify and win new business opportunities across the regionCollaborate with internal teams to bring new product ideas and solutions to customersMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunitiesRepresent the brand with passion, professionalism, and a consultative approachDeliver sales growth through partnership, insight, and creativityCandidate RequirementsProven experience in Business Development or Account Management within food, ingredients, or premium FMCGExperience working with foodservice wholesalers or route-to-market partners is highly desirableCommercially astute with a genuine passion for food and flavourSkilled at building authentic, long-term customer relationshipsSelf-motivated, driven, and able to work autonomouslyConfident analysing sales data and creating actionable plansComfortable travelling across the region to meet customers face-to-faceIdeally based within the South EastCulinary experience or a strong appreciation for professional ingredients would be an advantageBenefits£50,000 to £55,000 salary, dependent on experience10% BonusCompany car allowance (£7,000)Contributory pension scheme26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays Life insurance and healthcare benefitsContactIf you’re passionate about quality food and enjoy building lasting partnerships, this is a rare opportunity to join a business that shares your values and gives you the freedom to make an impact.Please apply below or contact Aidan at FMCG Selection on 01943 667280 or email aidan@fmcgselection.co.uk.
