Job Description

Overview

This role is pivotal in expanding the organisations Major Projects offering within the commercial markets and ensuring the successful management of contracted opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the construction and healthcare industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively promote Major Projects offering to commercial markets. Build and maintain strong business relationships to secure new opportunities and manage a robust business pipeline.
  • Project Management: Oversee the management of contracted opportunities, including coordination with third parties. Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate reports on funnel opportunities, estimated and contracted values, billed values, and compliance issues.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and support to installation engineers on major project sites. Ensure all team members are appropriately accredited and trained.
  • Quoting and Site Meetings: Prepare quotations based on plans from builders, architects, and OTs, adhering to local pricing structures. Attend site meetings with stakeholders to develop effective and affordable client solutions.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure all on-site activities align with or exceed quality and HSE procedures.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to secure future business.
  • Administration: Manage personal administration, time management, and office liaison effectively.

  • Strong understanding of the construction and healthcare industries.
  • Familiarity with the Prism Group portfolio, products, and services.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Relevant certifications, including:

  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card (CSCS) - minimum visitor level
  • SSSTS certification
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digitised design software

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience as an assessor for installed products or as an installer
  • Experience in the healthcare or education infrastructure market
  • Residence in the M62 corridor/North of England
