Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a Suffolk based client.

This role requires someone who can start as soon as possible and initially happy to work fully remote (there may be some travel to Suffolk/Cambridge required at a later date).

For the right candidate this role could develop into a permanent role.

Our client will consider both full time and part time applicants (although any candidate must be available for 1 full week at month end).

For this role our client is looking to offer in the region of £250 - £300 per day (they will be very flexible for an exceptional candidate)

Main Duties:

  • Preparation of monthly accounts in line with Group Timetable
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
  • Analyse & investigate variances to budget, provide commentary
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Monitor general ledger and post relevant journals (as required)
  • Ensure the monthly group reporting into SAP
  • Ensure the intercompany reconciliation process
  • Ensure monthly analysis of results
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly Management Pack
  • Weekly B2B sales reporting & monthly stock reporting
  • Complete relevant statutory reporting with the support of an accounting advisory firm
  • Coordinate with Tax consultancy to update annual tax strategy for the company

Attributes:

  • Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Previous experience in a large business desirable
  • Proactive, can hit the ground running
  • SAP experience desirable
