We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with expertise in Adult Social Care (ASC) to lead our dedicated team. This role involves providing top-tier ASC advice and representation for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the Adult Social Care legal team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Handle a caseload of ASC legal matters, offering expert advice and representation to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to provide integrated services.
  • Keep abreast of legal developments in ASC and disseminate knowledge to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in Adult Social Care law within a local authority context.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing or leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
