Bookkeeper - Bromley

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
-
Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation
-
Create and send invoices
-
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
-
Accurately maintain financial records, logs and spreadsheets
-
Prepare financial reports
-
Credit control - chase clients with overdue accounts
-
Monitor company expenses
-
Handle telephone calls and emails from clients and suppliers
-
Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
-
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (Min 3 years)
-
Extensive knowledge of Xero or Quickbooks Accounting Software
-
Friendly, reliable, trustworthy and keen to be part of our team
-
High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Professional qualification in accounting or finance is preferred

Excellent references required
