Finance Administrator (FTC to June 2025)
We are working exclusively with one of the global leaders in Home Mechanical Ventilation, Airway Clearance and Sleep therapy on an extremely exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join their site in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The purpose of the Finance Administrator is to provide daily support to the UK Finance Supervisor in carrying out the general accounting of a busy UK subsidiary of a global group.
The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and will enjoy both working with people and independently. This role is extremely important in the smooth running of the business and will have day to day contact with all disciplines of the organisation, including customer service, sales, purchasing, operations and other group finance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily administration of the UK finance function ensuring that all individual finance tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Posting the cash book daily, and performing the bank reconciliations at month end
- Posting and matching of purchase invoices and performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Receipting and posting customer payments
- Credit control
- Administrator for UK credit cards and UK Egencia (travel system) - reconciliation and posting and monitoring credit limits
- Creating business support recharge invoices for group companies and agreeing inter-company balances at month end
- Reconciliation of Goods in Transit for group companies
- Daily credit control in conjunction with the sales team
- Employee Expenses and accrual for credit cards at month end
- Weekly BACS payment run and ad hoc payments as required to suppliers
- Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts
- Support UK Finance Supervisor with month end activities and reporting
- Any other finance tasks as requested
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Part qualified AAT preferred
- Strong attention to detail and very numerate
- Good IT skills in MS Office and experience of at least one business ERP system
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
