Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to present a fantastic new role for a Trainee Legal Cashier. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to join a growing Legal Firm who take pride in valuing staff and providing challenges to encourage personal growth.
Trainee Legal Cashier Duties:
- Preparing, checking, and processing invoices and bank payments
- Bank and ledger reconciliations
- Posting and paying disbursements
- Residual balance investigation
- Compliance reporting
- Supporting year end audit and accounts audit
- Providing support to fee earners by phone and email
- Assisting with the weekly Legal Aid statement
- Assisting with Deputy-ship payments and receipts
Desirable skills:
- Attention to detail and a self-starter
- Confident and a good positive attitude
- Can demonstrate initiative.
- Good attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Good communication skills and ability to adapt to various levels of understanding
- Experience of adapting to different IT systems
