Role: Part Time Accounts Assistant (SAGE)

Location: Barnstaple OR Bideford

Contract: 3- 6 months, working 2 or 3 days per week

Pay Rate: £13 per hour

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a part time Accounts Assistant for a 3 to 6 month contract

The role will involve working alongside the Finance and Projects Manager (FPM) to cover day to day finance transactions. Including, but not limited to purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank receipts and payment and other journals at the quarter end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactional input to Sage 50 of purchase and sales invoices.
  • Monthly update from bank statement
  • Keep up to date with Citizens Advice aims, policies and procedures and ensure these are followed.
  • Ensure that work reflects and supports the Citizens Advice service's equity and diversity strategy.
  • Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for own health and safety and that of colleagues.
  • Carry out any other tasks within the scope of the post to endure the effective delivery and development of service.

Person specification

  • Good understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Proven Sage 50 experience
  • Proven Excel competency
  • A logical brain, well organised
  • Ability to prioritise own work and the work of others, meet deadlines and manage workload in a busy environment.
