Finance Manager Opportunity

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Barnstaple. This is a permanent position with potential for remote work and a salary of circa £40,000.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of detailed management accounts and financial reports with translatable commentary
  2. Management and reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts
  3. Overall management of the accounts payable/receivable function
  4. Payroll processing
  5. Development and implementation of system and process improvements
  6. Assisting the Finance Director with accounting projects

The ideal candidate will have recently gained and relevant vocational experience, preferably in the construction sector or with working knowledge of the CIS scheme. AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable, and experience with Sage-based systems and MS Excel is essential.

The Finance Manager will work closely with the senior management team and will be a prominent member of the business. Excellent team-working and communication skills are required.
