Having relocated to Bedford further to outgrowing three previous premises, we are proud to distribute to thousands of pet owners each month. We now have a vacancy for a Senior Retail Buyer to join our established Buying team. You will work alongside the Head of Buying to influence strategic plans and developments, create a top line strategy for the department, ensure key performance metrics relating to overall category performance are measured closely and achieved and manage supplier performance. The role will also include data analysis, supplier negotiations and market and pricing reviews. As our Senior Buyer, you will also be responsible for the supervision and performance of more junior buyers in the team. We can offer hybrid working with only one day a week in the office, an attractive salary, excellent culture and of course well behaved doggies are allowed to come to the officeWe invite applications from Retail Buyers with the following attributes: 5+ years of Retail Buying experience Some experience of managing/supervising more junior members of staff Commercially astute with experience/knowledge of trends, pricing, margins in commercial retail Strong negotiation skills Able to analyse complex sets of data Online retail experience a distinct advantage Must be a pet loverTPBN1_UKTJ
