Job Opportunity: Senior BuyerBasildon Location: Basildon, Essex Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM4:30 PM Salary: £50,000 + benefits Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities across multiple categories Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure best value Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Requirements: Proven experience in a Buyer or Senior Buyer role Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and as part of a team CIPS qualification (or working towards) is desirable Whats in it for you?
