Robert Dyas, a leading retailer of Garden & Outdoor, DIY, Electricals, and Homeware, is searching for an exceptional Senior Tech Buyer to join our future-focused team. This is your chance to: Lead the way: Contribute to and execute strategic plans that drive sales, income, and profitability within our stores. Become a product guru: Develop exciting and innovative product ranges that keep our customers coming back for more. Be a master negotiator: Secure the best deals with suppliers to maximise profitability. Embrace growth: Play a key role in our expansion across this category. Develop expertise in your markets: Maximise the latest social media trends to understand changing consumer behaviour and consistently introduce new, innovative and culturally relevant products. Lead and collaborate: Provide line management for a team of Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and Admins, while working closely with Merchandising to optimise stock levels. We're looking for someone who: Is a highly organised and experienced Senior Buyer with a proven track record of translating market trends into sales success with Tech. Possesses strong analytical skills and experience with budgeting and reporting. Has a deep understanding of multi-channel retail and a history of delivering growth in this environment. Understands the product lifecycle in a seasonal business. Has at least 3 years of experience in Buying/Product Selection at a senior level. Excels at negotiation, consistently exceeding targets for margins, profit, and growth.
