We are partnered with a dynamic and rapidly growing team specialising in providing comprehensive valuation services across various verticals. Their expertise spans Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), restructuring, Purchase Price Allocations (PPAs), and more. Positioned within a well-established firm, our client's valuations team are poised for exponential growth over the next few years and offer a genuine route to Partner within 1 to 2 years.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Valuations Director. The ideal candidate will lead and expand the team's current valuation services, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the team. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of valuation professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Identify and recruit top talent to support the team’s growth objectives.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's market presence.
Valuation Services Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality valuation services for M&A, restructuring, PPAs, and other related engagements.
- Ensure all valuation reports and analyses comply with relevant standards and best practices.
- Provide expert advice and insights to clients on complex valuation issues.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the valuation services offering.
- Identify new market opportunities and service lines to drive business expansion.
- Collaborate with other senior leaders to align the valuation team’s goals with the broader firm strategy.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, CPA) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in valuation services, with a significant portion at a senior level.
- Proven track record in M&A, restructuring, PPAs, and other valuation engagements.
- Demonstrated success in leading and growing valuation teams.
