My client has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their office in Dagenham. This is a temporary position however there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Duties:

  • Ad hoc admin duties.
  • Co-ordinate between customers and suppliers and agents.
  • Ensure correct flow of office procedures.
  • Submitting import/export entries and applying customs procedures as appropriate.
  • Using office software including emails, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Maintaining compliance with current and evolving legislation, laws and customs.

Requirements:

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Does not necessarily require experience within import/export as full training will be given.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Computer literate with experience in Excel.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information on a regular basis.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm or 8.00am to 4.30pm depending on the clients needs.
