Business Development Director

A great opportunity has come up to join Virtual Science's AI-growing account team to play a significant role in accelerating the business in 2024 and beyond.


We have great momentum with Virtual Science’s services being adopted and utilized by leading pharma organizations and Biotechs. In this role, you will be responsible for assigned global accounts to drive systematic growth and for driving growth through new customer account acquisitions.

  • Driven to deliver on individual revenue targets
  • Highly driven to win new business and expand existing business
  • Skilled at building and driving account plans
  • Effective at appropriately rallying/using internal resources to win
  • Happy to travel to client meetings
  • Effective at new business development
  • Experienced in Life Science/Pharmaceutical Services Industry
  • Experience working with SaaS and/or AI solutions would be a plus
  • Consultative in your sales approach
  • Able to translate client needs into clear personalized client proposals
  • Excellent at proposal writing and helping team members with proposals
  • Able to hold an audience and present in group meetings of various seniorities
  • Capable of delivering individual sales while scaling up


Requirements:


  • Experience in Life Science B2B
  • Proven successful track record in new business development and account management
  • Ambition to build Virtual Science AI into the industry-leading organization for panels & pharma AI insight solutions
  • Excellent proposal writing skills
  • Pharma network
  • Excellence in communication skills
  • Business-related or science degree preferred
