The roleYou will bring to life our global strategy and give voice to our senior leadership. You will be responsible for leading the planning and development of compelling narratives messages stories and content for the firms global strategy to inspire and motivate employees.You will lead and manage all global channels including our intranet global town halls weekly digest and Viva Engage to ensure we effectively engage our employees around the world with measurable results. Who you will work withThis is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in leading the communications for our firms global strategy and narrative internally.You will report to the Global Head of Executive and Employee Communications within the Brand Communications & Public Affairs team. This role will work to support the global leadership team working alongside the Chief of Staff and office of the Global Chief Operating Officer.You will work in collaboration with the regional and local heads of communications across our offices to ensure content and channels are globally and culturally relevant. You will work with our markets across significant global communications to support and co-create to ensure it resonates around the world to achieve the desired outcome. You will manage a community of practice to enable this and in turn enhance our internal capabilities.The role will also align with peers across the broader communications function to ensure we join up internal activity with external considerations.What you will be responsible forWe are looking for an exceptional communicatora sharp creative writer with a flair for turning complex messages into powerful human stories. As Lead for Global Internal strategy content and channels youll be at the heart of how we communicate with our people across the firm: taking business strategy and leadership thinking and transforming it into content that cuts through connects and inspires through best in class global channels.Strategic communications planning: you will lead the development of a communications plan for our firms strategy to have a consistent drumbeat of content aligned to all strategic pillars with the goal to bring to life and educate on what each pillar delivers how we are tracking to date and calls to action to continue to deliver on the strategic initiatives Channel management: You will lead and manage our global communications channels to ensure we have the right channels targeting the right people with the right cadence working effectively with an omnichannel approach to engage our employees and achieve our objectivesYou will manage our Global Town HallsYou will shape and edit our weekly news digestYou will develop governance and best practice guidance and templates for story content aligned to our strategyYou will work with IT to evolve and enhance our systems and channels  including AI tools for content and analyticsYou will develop best practice metrics for global reporting on the impact and outcome of internal communicationsYou will lead a community of practice across the regions / countries to establish best practice ways of working capability building and editorial planningOperational Excellence: You will support this strategic area of focus and subsequent programmes to develop plans and content to bring to life the activities and tools we are deploying to evolve our operating model how this will enable us to deliver and proof points on achievementsContent creation: you will be a strong accomplished writer able to develop compelling content in various formats including articles scripts videos briefings presentations etcExecutive content: Youll be entrusted to craft speeches talking points messages scripts and articles that bring clarity energy and emotion to our strategyLeadership advisor: you will be experienced in developing meaningful relationships and working with senior leaders in advising on the communications needs to achieve the desired objectivesYou will be working across the matrix of the organisation to collaborate and curate content with our creative and digital teamsTeam management: you will lead colleagues aligned to executive content and channels providing clarity of direction and coaching to enable them to deliverWhy this role matters:This is a unique opportunity to shape how people across a global law firm think feel and connect with our purpose our leadership and our strategic direction.Qualifications : Your experience Excellent writing and storytelling capabilityExcellent strategic communications plannerExperience in working with and advising C-suite or equivalent level senior leaders in a global organisationExperienced in working in matrixed global teams across change strategy and operations HR project management etcExperience in metrics and analyticsExperience in internal channel management (intranet) across a global audienceExperienced in working closely with senior leaders and writing on their behalf with care clarity and credibilitySomeone who thrives in a fast-paced environment can deal with ambiguity and takes real pride in their craftBackground in journalism / writing / PR / Marketing / Executive communications strategic content or corporate writingideally in a professional services or similarly complex environmentProven track record of managing communication strategies for large-scale organisational changes.How we will support youFrom your first day with us you will have varied opportunities to continuously grow and development your skills and knowledge.
