The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic, focused and enthusiastic School Tours Sales Executive who is passionate about education, travel and creating unforgettable experiences for Students across the globe. The post holder will be responsible for a wide-ranging remit which entails developing, selling and leading a wide portfolio of tailored tours to schools across the English, UK and International marketplace.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Sales, Marketing and Relationship Management: Promoting and introducing unique tour experiences to schools via an omnichannel approach including networking, direct outreach, social media, school visits and optimising existing contact base.
- Tour Development: Working closely with support teams and end-user schools to design and develop subject-focused tour experiences that both meet the needs of individual schools, exceed expectations and provide a balance of educational value, safety and enjoyment.
- Leadership: Lead on tours, providing relevant educational insights, managing group dynamics and ensuring a positive experience for all attending participants
- Customer Service: Delivering exceptional end-user support and service to schools before, during and after tours. Managing enquiries, feedback and any issues with a high degree of professional integrity and professionalism.
The ideal candidate will be able to evidence much of the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Direct experience selling tailored educational school tours or travel experiences into the UK and International schools’ marketplace - desired
- Direct experience of working with the English-based educational market from a travel planning or experience solution provision perspective - essential
- Highly commercial and customer-centric mentality
- Skilful in customer relationship building and networking
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- First-class communication and interpersonal abilities with a passion for sales & marketing
- Passionate about education, experience enrichment and travel
- A willingness to travel both domestically and internationally when required
