Multi Manager Hedge Fund seeks a highly driven junior Trading Assistant to join its growing business.


The fund covers a diverse range of strategies, trading in multiple asset classes to include Equity, Fixed Income/Macro Rates, Credit and Commodities.


The fund has multibillion AUM with a global reach to include US, APAC and Middle East.


Given the seasoned experience in the team, the role will be a longer-term investment hire. The team are looking to hire a junior with an internship or Industrial placement, that they can train, mentor and mould for a successful career.


Key duties will include but not limited to;

  • Supporting Multi Pod teams initially across global macro and over time; Equity, Commodities and complex credit.
  • Trade booking and allocation.
  • Trade amendments and acting on behalf of post execution trade requests.
  • Monitoring and analysing live trading positions and P&L.
  • Daily trade reporting.
  • FX exposure and risk.


Given the experience across this team and the extremely close proximity to trading, this opportunity offers an outstanding learning curve in a collaborative and supportive environment.


Whilst this is a junior hire in which they will train and develop the right candidate, some key experience and characteristics are required


  • Internship or Industrial Placement in Financial Services or Banking.
  • Strong work ethic and positive approach.
  • Can do attitude.
  • Ability to learn and motivation to do so.
  • Genuine interest in Hedge Funds.
  • Clear understanding this is a TA/Middle office role, whilst the role sits with the trading desk this is not a Trading position (possible pathway to trading but not day 1 and over time).
