The Job - Field Service EngineerThe RoleBoyd Recruitment are recruiting for a self-motivated field service engineer as a result of our clients growing business and increased contract wins. The role predominately involves installing and maintaining a large fleet of Condition Monitoring equipment for clients within the UK and Ireland as well as carrying out site surveys and electrical testing – primarily Partial Discharge measurements in air insulated and gas insulated substations. The equipment will typically be located within HV electrical compounds which you will be expected to travel to using company vehicle.Main Responsibilities:Installation of new condition monitoring equipment including subsystems and communicationsRemoval and relocation of existing systemsCorrective maintenanceRegular travel within UK and Ireland.
