HR Onboarding Administrator 12 Months Contract

This role is based in our Colchester office.The HR SSO is responsible for the full Hire to Retire employment cycle of approx. 11000 colleagues globally and is split into 4 areas HR SSO EMEA HR SSO Americas HR SSO APAC and MI (Management Information).HR SSO EMEA is responsible for the provision of services to approx. 4000 colleagues and is split into two further areas Pre-employment Onboarding and Administration.You must ensure that all company policies are adhered to. You must also ensure that duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all Informa customers and colleagues. Informa takes the security and privacy of company colleague and customer data seriously and you are responsible for working securely and supporting this within your dutiesKey responsibilities The HR SSO Administrator (Onboarding) is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:Provide first point of contact for hiring managers and new colleagues resolving queries professionally and promptlyWorking with the pre-employment team to establish a smooth transition of all starters post offer and moving into the onboarding stagesManagement and updating of the new colleague tracker on a day-to-day basisInitiate new starter onboarding process preparation and issuing of all documentation welcome meetings and reminders starting at pre-boarding through to one year after joiningOrganise key onboarding events throughout the programme ensuring the colleague is informed and attending whilst maintaining the tracking scheduleSupport in maintaining all documentation on an annual basisHandles diverse and confidential information requiring extreme accuracy independent judgement and discretion.People Management Responsibilities General duty of care to colleaguesWork collaboratively across teams/businessesAct as a role model to othersProvide help and a buddy system to other members of the team depending upon your level (SSC Specific)Qualifications : Skills & AbilitiesGood communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internal departments and key contactsProficient skills in Excel Word and Outlook are essentialRemain approachable under pressureKnowledge and ability to use relevant internal systemsAbility to act with integrity tact and diplomacy with sensitive and confidential information and handle it in a secure and safe manner at all timesWork as part of a teamAbility to complete a variety of related tasksPro-actively solve problemsExcellent Customer Service skillsGood time management skillsAbility to be flexible within roleExcellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge & QualificationsUnderstanding of Applicant Tracking Systems/Onboarding Platforms advantageousGood knowledge and understanding of onboarding or recruitment administrationPrevious experience within a HR SSO environment desirableAdditional Information : We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face.
