About the Role:
Partnering with the NHS, we are seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be managing referrals, appointments, and theatre lists, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a patient-centred approach. This role supports the seamless operation of outpatient services while maintaining compliance with national and local healthcare guidelines. We offer both full-time and part-time roles, with shift patterns ranging from 20 to 37.5 hours per week.

This is a fixed term post.
Your Day to Day:
  • Book, cancel, and rearrange outpatient appointments and daycase admissions.
  • Answer inbound and make outbound calls to assist patients, maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Use hospital systems to manage the patient journey, ensuring data is recorded accurately.
  • Proactively monitor waiting lists to ensure patients are seen within the appropriate timeframes.
  • Liaise with clinicians, other administrative staff, and patients to ensure smooth coordination of services.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organisational policies and procedures.
