Full job description

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client account team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing properties payments, and ensuring accurate property payment records.

Responsibilities

  • Process Service Charge/Ground Rent accounts for Landlords
  • Process all utility bills for gas/elec/water/council tax/ maintenance for Landlords
  • Negotiate exemption discounts with councils on behalf of landlords
  • Deal with debt collection, court summons, bailiffs
  • Apply for council tax/utility refunds on behalf of landlords
  • Ensure the accuracy of information and documents within the internal network and database
  • Manage all documentation relating to invoices & correspondence where necessary
  • Receive, action and respond to Accounts Payable queries
  • Respond to any task requested by Directors & Managers where necessary
  • Assisting with the reconciling of Utility and Contractor Accounts
  • Assist internal teams where necessary

Qualifications- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role

- Experience in high volume invoice departement is necessary

- Ability to work in a team- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail- Ability to analyse financial data effectively
