Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting, and developing processes to improve the function's efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring smooth operations and accurate reporting.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with other finance departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing support to the team.
- Manage the month-end closing process for accounts payable.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience and Skills
- A strong background within accounts payable.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within accounts payable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
