Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are actively recruiting for a Client Manager on behalf of a highly successful Accountancy practice in St. Albans. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering hybrid working.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of predominantly owner managed businesses
  • Bookkeeping
  • Personal and business tax returns
  • Advising and dealing with a number of tax related issues
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Corporation Tax Returns
  • Assisting other more junior members of the team

Skills and attributes required:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent practice experience in a similar client facing role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident user of Xero, Sage, Quickbooks
