We are looking for a meticulous Customs Process Administrator to oversee the smooth processing of SCDP Supplementary Declarations for our customers on a month-to-month basis. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with HMRC rules and ensuring the integrity of customs authorisation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of customs processes, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Day to Day of the role:- Accurate input of Entry Headers, Charges, and Invoice details, ensuring HMRC compliance standards are met.
- Cross-referencing of shipments with customer-provided information.
- Processing various Customs processes such as Homeuse, IP, and Bonded Warehousing.
- Collating and uploading documentation to customer SharePoint accurately.
- Building strong relationships with team members and customer operational contacts.
- Maintaining and improving knowledge of Customs Processes and Procedures.
- Inputting shipment details to create Supplementary Declarations and resolving any CDS errors.
- Completing Month End checks for the Final Supplementary Declaration.
- Merging and uploading documents to customer SharePoint and maintaining accurate logs.
- A good level of numeracy and literacy.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ASM Sequoia software, CHIEF, CDS (desired but not essential)
- Data entry skills - Advanced Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
